Why I started to build CrossFlow

I built CrossFlow because the Premiere-to-Resolve trip (or Premiere-to-Resolve-to-Premiere) is a problem many editors are facing, and the existing options (generic interchange formats, manual relinking) weren’t good enough for real editorial work.

For me, as an independent small Premiere Pro editor, I always wanted to discover the Blackmagic world and try Resolve, especially for its Grading capabilities but I also did not want to leave Premiere. So building CrossFlow was the perfect tool for that and I can now grade all my existing projects within Resolve, and even finish them in Premiere after that.

My experience at Autokroma

With the Autokroma Team (Marion and Antoine), I built 2 plugins which also faced real editors problem in Premiere Pro, and we continue together to improve those plugins, answering to our user needs.

About the name “Nablast”

Nabla (∇) is the mathematical operator that describes how something changes: direction, gradient, flow. Blast is force and speed. Nablast is both: transformation done with precision, and the momentum to push it through. Test

Nablast is a name for everything I do. Here plugins but also my other personal projects (music, video, ..). The combination between mathematics, logic, movement, and passion.
